        Description

The Composite Extruder Model 1C is designed for composite material printing without compromising accuracy. Optimised for fibre-reinforced filaments, it enables the production of durable, high-strength functional parts.

        Key Features

        • Smart sensors for material management and print protection
        • Greater torque with a 19:1 dural-drive gear ratio
        • Lengthened thermal core with less than 60-second heat up time
        • Quick-release locking extruder mount for high stability printing and easy swap-ability
        • Designed for experimental and third-party material development

        Compatible Printers

The Labs experimental extruder is not standard on any Method 3D printer. Compatible with:
        • The full MakerBot Method range

        Materials Optimised For This Extruder

This extruder is optimised for printing third party materials outside of MakerBot's selection. Print third-party materials on an industrial 3D printing platform with modular hardware and advanced print settings. Note: LABS extruder can print standard and Model 1C materials but as it is not optimised for the typical extrusion temperature of those materials it is not explicitly advised.
