A STEM Partnerships Forum was established to support more efficient and effective partnerships between schools, industry, and the tertiary education sector

In 2015, all Australian education ministers endorsed the National STEM School Education Strategy 2016–2026, aimed at strengthening foundation skills, promoting mathematical, scientific, and digital literacy, and fostering problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity. • Boosting industry involvement in STEM education

  • Aligning initiatives across sectors

  • Raising awareness of STEM’s importance

  • Improving career guidance related to STEM skills
