LED technology presented Stucchi with a real challenge. The company faced this head-on by expanding its product range while maintaining its core business. Every year, A. A. G. Stucchi invests in research and development to deliver increasingly complete solutions to its clients.Their track lighting systems, ONETRACK and MULTISYSTEM, are the best examples of this approach. Success in domestic markets led to international expansion, with three subsidiaries and 80 specialised distributors worldwide.

Fast prototyping became a critical factor in reducing product development time. Previously, A. A. G. Stucchi relied on external suppliers for 3D printing, but turnaround times were still too slow.
The company designs products and moulds internally, and the ability to hold a real, physical part at an early project stage proved extremely valuable. Showing customers a design concept transformed into a real piece within hours significantly changed their project approach.
In the past, modifications were simulated manually, which was sometimes impossible or produced unrealistic results. In urgent situations, moulds had to be modified step by step until reaching the final version — a costly and time-consuming process.

A. A. G. Stucchi searched for a solution that would allow them to avoid building moulds until the final version of a project was confirmed. Initially, they outsourced 3D printing, but after realising the capabilities of the Sinterit solution, they purchased the Lisa PRO.
With SLS 3D printing, they can prototype new products and test them in a short time. Once they are fully satisfied, they proceed with mould construction.
Even when specifications are frozen early in the project, change requests can occur after moulds are prepared. In these cases, modification costs increase significantly. With the Lisa PRO, A. A. G. Stucchi can perform functional tests on modified pieces before implementing changes to moulds. If a customer requires a customised solution not included in the standard product range, the company can create a unique track lighting system specifically for that client.
