Description

Ultimaker Breakaway is a support material for dual extrusion 3D printing. Breakaway supports can be quickly removed and do not need further post-processing to give a smooth finish to your 3D print. Designed for a hassle-free 3D printing experience, Breakaway provides good adhesion to PLA, PETG, Nylon and ABS-based filaments.

NFC Chip

Ultimaker filament spools include an embedded NFC chip that allows supported printers and the Material Station to automatically recognise the material when loaded. The system reads the tag and applies the correct print settings in the printer and Cura simplifying setup, streamlining workflow and reducing errors.

Storage Environment

Supplied in a sealed, moisture-protected bag with desiccant included to help maintain material quality during transport and storage. Ultimaker advises keeping the filament in the original resealable bag with desiccant after opening to minimise moisture exposure and preserve performance.
