Product form

Dissolvable support material from Stratasys. SR-30 is a proprietary soluble support material developed by Stratasys to work seamlessly with ABS and other higher temp materials. SR-30 requires a specialised Ecoworks solution along with heat and agitation for best dissolution results.

For printing at scale, the 2XA Extruder is recommended to achieve optimal performance on Method series printers (Standard extruder on Method XL).

Adhesion

Method SR-30 uses a raft layer to ensure optimal adhesion and release from the build plate. It is not recommended to print build materials directly on the build plate.

Ease of Use

Method SR-30 is an easy-to-print material and the heated chamber of the Method series printers ensure an optimal environment to prevent warpage and achieve dimensionally accurate prints. Make sure that your Method SR-30 is dry before usage and/or use the drying functionality in your Method (XL) printer.

Smart Spool

Smart Spool™ provides valuable information including material type, colour, and amount remaining via an RFID chip directly to MakerBot Print, while a desiccant in the spool maintains a low moisture level inside the drawer bay.

Storage Environment

Store in the included a vacuum-sealed metalised polyester bag to avoid moisture absorption from air; long-term exposure to humidity can compromise material quality and performance. Make sure the built-in desiccant is in the spool to absorb any moisture exposure during the material loading process.

Compatibility

SR-30 works great in dual-extrusion prints for full design freedom, in combination with ASA and Nylon 12 CF on the Method XL printers. Additionally also with ABS, ABS-R, Nylon CF, PC-ABS and PC-ABS FR on the older model Method X printer.
